Executive Director & Founder

Leadership rooted in Flint and guided by purpose.

Educator & Youth Advocate

Known throughout the community as “Mama Boone,” Rashanda Boone brings over a decade of classroom educational experience and more than ten years as a youth behavior specialist and interventionist to FliKidz Arts Academy. A lifelong Flint resident and director of Mishertz Production LLC, Boone merges creative enterprise with evidence-based mentorship for neglected, abused, and system-impacted youth.

Boone’s educational leadership integrates creative media, music production, and visual storytelling with emotional resilience, cognitive development, practical life skills, and trauma-informed care. That dual expertise gives Flint youth both a safe creative haven and a tangible launchpad for lasting futures.
